Earlier in his career, Alexander was a principal at a venture capital firm in the technology sector. During his tenure as a venture capitalist, one of the fund’s portfolio companies was acquired for nearly $500 million cash by a Fortune 50 corporation. Prior to that, he was a technology strategy consultant and a software developer, beginning his career at KPMG Consulting, which later became BearingPoint. He also served as an invited expert on numerous investment panels at the United States National Science Foundation.
